My mission is to help people who are motivated, but lacking some confidence, to transform into a gardener who can confidently & happily manage their space
About
More and more I hear from friends and clients that they’re sick of wasting money on plants and shrubs that look great when first planted but are never seen again following one season because they bought what looked pretty, not understanding if it would be suited to the specific conditions of their garden, or because they didn’t know how to take care of it.
I also hear that people are fed up of conflicting advice online or spending money on apps which promise you the answers but seem to be a disappointment, yearning instead for a conversation with a friendly human who will chat to you in simple terms, offering honest advice to make your garden more beautiful and your life easier!
I provide a variety of gardening advice, support, and recommendations to help you curate your garden, but more importantly, I’ll help you build your confidence and realise that it’s easier than you think to love and maintain your garden too. This includes suggestions for plants that look great throughout the year with minimal maintenance (if that’s what’s required!) so even on a dark February morning there will be something to bring you some joy.

Introducing Vicki
“Long before RHS qualifications, I fell in love with gardening after buying my first home and was a simple hobby gardener for 15 years. With a tiny shady courtyard to start with and then moving to a home with a traditional, established (if not a little neglected!) garden, spending time in the garden started to bring me joy. With a big renovation job to be done on the house, a young family and a demanding job, I soon realised I needed the garden to look good and to look after itself when I couldn't look after it. And so my ethos to gardening was formed...
A GARDEN NEEDS TO LOOK GOOD WHENEVER YOU LOOK AT IT, BUT IF IT'S LOW MAINTENANCE, IT'S EVEN BETTER!
A garden is part of your home and it should bring you joy all year round. Whether it's on a drizzly January morning through a window; whilst eagerly searching for signs of life in early Spring; during the long days of Summer; or whilst watching the change of seasons as Autumn fades into Winter.
BUT, life is busy and there are so many demands on our time, so we have to find the right plants that won't need lots of cosseting, but create the foundations of our outdoor space to build up as and when we have the time or the impetus to make tweaks and changes.”
